We contracted SHLY Decking to resurface our deck and install cladding on the associated covered area. The project was completed on budget and one day ahead of schedule even after we made a few small changes during the construction process. The crew showed up on-time every day. Their work ethic was something you do not see very often these days. They work more than a full day and almost nonstop even through two days of rain. They cleaned up the work area at the end of each day and took extra care to make sure the yard was not damaged. Communication with the entire team was excellent throughout the planning, quoting, and construction phases of the project. They really listened to us and delivered what we asked of them. The back-office team responded to all my calls and emails very quickly even on a weekend. Their craftsmanship was top-noch on the decking, stairs, railings, and cladding. I highly recommend this company.

Bought a home in Delaware and needed a deck built in the yard, did some research and reached out to a few deck companies; Shly Deck Company gave me the best quote so I decided with them. After the permit process with Delaware county, they were pretty quick and efficient to have my deck built. Alyssa was very helpful, was able to get ahold of her via text, email and phone; although it took a little longer than I had hoped to get an answer. Their team that arrived was AWESOME, it took them about 3 days to finish but you could tell they were very skilled at what they do. Probably won't be needing another deck anytime soon since the one they made was so well built, but I would recommend to anyone who is looking for one!

We needed a 3 story, approx 1000 sqft deck. Shly was the only company that said they can do it and they did it beautifully. Despite requiring metal posts and special tooling they did everything they promised and on time. Whenever something wasn't per expectations they reevaluated and fixed to make the deck the highest standard possible. I really recommend working with them if you want quality construction from a company that stands behind it's word.

The Handicap Ramp at our church was falling down and was totally unusable. It had been in existence for over 20 years. Also, the location was not good and it needed to be moved. SHLY came in and in a very short time, built our church a brand new ramp. All of it was done according to code regulations and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The team at Shly was amazing to work with on building our new deck. We had two other companies give us quotes over the summer. One well-known company that was used by several neighbors, took over a month to give us a quote and it didn't even include what we had discussed for the deck. We received a flier for Shly around that time and contacted them. We had a quote within one business day with everything we discussed and they were competitively priced. When we ran into issues with our HOA approving the deck design, Shly drove to the HOA and the Township to discuss solutions with them, then came to our home that day to revise the design with us. Their customer service was impeccable! When the building started, the team arrived promptly each day and had the project completed in 5 business days - including a day of power washing down the entire deck! Highly recommend them. I had a wonderful experience working with Shly Deck Company. Within three weeks of receiving an estimate, they got to work demolishing a 20-year-old deck and then building a new one in its place. The project was not easy in that the deck had to be built above a steep ravine. The crew worked tirelessly, often 12-13 hour days. The quality of their work was excellent. Our new deck should last hopefully another 20+ years. Highly recommended!

Pavel came to my house on a Tuesday to look at my yard and give me a quote on a floating deck for my backyard. He brought samples of TimberTech composite decking in several colors. Later that night he got me a quote for a 12' x 27' composite floating deck which I signed.

I paid a materials deposit and the materials were delivered the following Monday. I am confident that if we had not had all day rain on Monday my deck would have been completed that day. Instead, the build crew came out Tuesday and completely built my new deck.

I'm sure Ohio Februarys are not the busiest time of year for deck construction but I am still blown away that I went from a quote to a fully finished, great looking deck in one week. I wasn't at home when the build crew showed up but they brought everything needed, finished in one day and left the job site neat and clean.
